Yong was extremely helpful with communicating prior to our stay and whilst we were staying at Emeraldene Inn. We brought our boat with Us and she allowed Us to have the extra parking space to park the boat when we weren't using it. Shower pressure was excellent especially after a long day out on the water. The room was clean and comfortable. It had all the facilties we needed whilst staying.
Was looking at booking a diving holiday on Lady Elliot and Emeraldene came up along with a few others. They were the first to reply to my inquiry (some never bothered) and the whole experience was excellent. Having never been to Hervey Bay before I didn't realise how spread out it was and I though perhaps we were too far away from everything - but the amazingly efficient co-ordination they had with the local limo company made getting around a breeze, and the room and facilities were great - comfortable rooms, great, almost jungle like atmosphere and the staff were enthusiastic, had a great deal of knowledge of the local area and very helpful, pretty much organised a perfect holiday for us!!!!
It's the standard eco-lodge. The WiFi here doesn't seem to work. A night can cost between $110 to $120 (or so we heard). For its price, it is an OK place to stay for the night. Can recommend for people travelling on a budget.
It was very clean and quiet,it just had a good feel. I loved all the trees and gardens.
The official whale watching will start from the 9th July. We have already seen some Humpbacks in the bay, the whale searching cruises will kick off from the 2nd July.
